This lecture introduces the Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues (ELSI) regarding the artificial intelligence. The ELSI of AI tackle the problem of human right violation caused by AI in the human society, whereas the most studies on AI focus on the problem of how analyzing and utilizing data. In the lecture, I will explain some ELSI discussed in the guidelines about ELSI of AI.

- Dr. Kazuto Fukuchi received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Dept. of Computer Science, Graduated School of SIE, the University of Tsukuba in 2018. From Apr 2018, he was a postdoctoral researcher at RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project. He has been an assistant professor at University of Tskuba from Sep 2019. He has also been a visited researcher at RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project from Nov 2019. His interests include fairness and privacy in the machine learning.
