Kazuo Misue is a professor at the Institute of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, Japan, where he conducts research and development in computer science. He received his BSc and MSc degrees from Tokyo University of Science in 1984 and 1986, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo in 1997. From 1986, he researched automatic graph drawing and creativity support at the International Institute of Advanced Study of Social Information Science, Fujitsu Limited. He joined Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. in 1990. He has been at the University of Tsukuba since 2004.
