Japanese judoist (Kodokan 6 steps). The active era was active as a regular in the all-Japan championship in the 1990's, and also twice for the indiscriminate Asian champion. Currently he is the general director of the judo department of the University of Tsukuba and the coach of the women's national team as a reinforcement staff of the All Japan Judo Federation.
