- Jun Sakuma received a Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo Japan in 2003. He has been a professor in the Department of Computer Science, School of System and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, Tsukuba, Japan, since 2016. He has also been a team leader of Artificial Intelligence Security and Privacy team in the Center for Advanced Intelligence Project, RIKEN, since 2016. Prior to that, he worked as an associate professor in the same department of the University of Tsukuba (2009--2016). He worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Computational Intelligence and Systems Science, Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan (2004--2009). He worked as a researcher at Tokyo Research Laboratory, IBM, Tokyo Japan (2003--2004). His research interests include data mining, machine learning, data privacy and AI security.
