The University of Tsukuba has aimed to be an open university in every sense. We have led the reforms in the university system in Japan, making it our educational philosophy to become a “flexible educational research organization” and establish a “new university system” that is free from established concepts for the future. Based on this aim, we focus on continuously developing new leading approaches and disciplinary areas.
